For those arriving from the north, including Naples train station or airport, take highway A3 Naples- Salerno- Reggio Calabria and exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Follow the signage for the Penisola Sorrentina. Once you arrive in Sorrento, follow the signage for the main square, Piazza Tasso.
For those arriving from the south, take the Salerno-Reggio Calabria highway towards Salerno, then follow the directions to highway A3 Napoli-Salerno towards Napoli, exiting at Castellammare di Stabia. Follow the signage for the Penisola Sorrentina. Once you arrive in Sorrento, follow the signage for the main square, Piazza Tasso.
The nearest national and international airport to Sorrento is Naples Capodichino Airport, which is 50 km away. At the airport, the Curreri Travel coach services travel along the routes Naples Airport - Sorrento and Sorrento - Naples Airport . Alternatively we would be happy to organize a private transfer. Sorrento is about an hour from the airport by car.

The Circumvesuviana train line connects the Sorrento Peninsula to the city of Naples (Piazza Garibaldi - Napoli Centrale station).

Marina del Cantone: a charming fishing village on the Amalfi Coast Marina del Cantone is one of the most beautiful fishing villages along the Amalfi Coast, overlooking the Gulf of Salerno and set between the Bays of Ieranto and Recommone. This stretch of coastline is famous for its immaculate pebble beaches and crystalline waters, so the perfect location for those who want to enjoy relaxing at the beach or taking dips in the Mediterranean. From Villa Rita, you are just steps from one of the most breathtaking beaches on the entire coast! But Marina del Cantone isn’t just beach. This picturesque village has a number of restaurants with terraces overlooking the sea, so you can enjoy romantic dinners with a view over the Gulf of Salerno. Be sure to sample the traditional Spaghetti alla Nerano, the area’s most famous dish made with tender zucchini and artisan pasta. If you’d like to stretch your legs, you can walk along the scenic trail from the beach at Marina del Cantone, to the lovely Recommone Beach, a hidden gem that is a local favorite. There are SITA buses to Marina del Cantone from Sorrento or Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi.
